The Olive Grove

Masseria Villa Verde stands amid 3 hectares (over 4 acres) of fruitful centuries-old olive trees. Its production of extra virgin olive oil on the estate goes back a long way to the times when the old oil mill of the Masseria was still working. Today this trappeto dominates the central hall, reminding us where we come from. Ask at the Masseria for the oil tasting experience, to walk among the olive trees on the estate learning about the harvesting and pressing techniques used to obtain our award-winning extra virgin olive oil.

The Masseria vegetable garden

Explore our 1000m² big vegetable garden. In our vision of sustainable tourism, we have imagined a place where you can live in harmony with the land, where you can promote local traditions and above all else, where you can enhance the agricultural function of the Masseria. Guests can pick carrots, local cocomeri (similar to cucumbers), tomatoes, watermelons, courgettes, aubergines and taste the fresh harvest. Prepare a salad or a fresh juice with us. Learn Puglian recipes such as cialledda or bruschetta.

The citrus grove

The suggestive and silent citrus grove is the ideal place where to stop and enjoy the beaty of nature among the unripe scents of oranges and lemons. At the Masseria, we share a thousand places where to feel good enabling you to find your own corner of peace. Here, we plan future gala dinners and exclusive events under a sky full of stars.
