Oil Tasting
Masseria Villa Verde is surrounded by 3 hectares of ancient olive groves. The production of oil has been one of the primary activities since its construction in the early ‘800.
The climate of Puglia, the fertile land, the centuries-old olive trees, the processing methods and the cold milling within 24 hours of harvesting guarantee our oil excellent organoleptic qualities.

The tasting begins outdoors, among the olive trees, where you will be shown the different varieties of plants and the care in their cultivation. Afterwards, you will visit the inside of the Masseria to learn about the stages of production, from milling to pressing. Finally, you will delight yourself with a guided tasting of extra virgin oils, exploring their taste nuances: from fruity to spicy, through bitter. To accompany the oil, the traditional Apulian friselle, to taste at best every single note of flavor.
